Q: Will I get a Travel Agent ID Card
A: Yes, You will be put on the IATAN list and you will receive a CLIA travel agent ID card. That allows you to get discounts on Cruises, Cars and Hotels. Since 9/11 travel agents no longer get discount air tickets.
It will also allow you to go on FAMS if you qualify. To obtain these privileges you must prove you are a real travel agent working from home by selling at least 5 vacation packages or cruises. We will provide you with the support needed to obtain your own coveted IATAN and/or CLIA photo ID card when you qualify for them. These are the two major photo ID cards recognized around the world for discount travel and fam trips Top

A: That varies greatly. Commissions usually range from 10% to 20% each supplier sets it's own policy. But here's an example: lets say you sell a family of 4 on a 7 day All-Inclusive Resort in the Caribbean for $3,000 and we got 15% commission. The total commission on that sale would be $450. Of which you get 70% or $315. (you can receive up to 90% commission depending on how much you sell per year) If that was a Cruise using the same figures and you sold a group of 15 cabins your commission would be $4,725. Note: Suppliers don't pay commission on taxes or port-charges. Top

A: At the end of each month, you complete a sales commission report, for all people who have completed their travel that month and mail, fax or e-mail it to the agency. Commission checks are issued 15 days after receiving you commission report. Top
